CE-MS analysis can be applied in various areas including toxicity prediction, drug mechanism of action, bio-processing and disease marker discovery. Diverse samples such as blood, urine, CSF, organs, cultured cells, microbes, and plants can be analyzed. Analysis of glycolysis cycle metabolites is also one of HMT’s great strengths. No other analytical platform can detect ionic compounds like phosphorylated organic acids and nucleotides as well as CE-MS.


CE-MS (Capillary Electrophoresis-Mass Spectrometry)

CE-MS is a combination of capillary electrophoresis (CE) and mass spectrometry (MS). CE-MS enables an incredible measurement capability with high-speed separation, high resolution, and high sensitivity for ionic compounds. Furthermore, combination of CE-MS with liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS) permits the identification of all metabolites in a cell, including both ionic and neutral compounds.
